Cambelts are one of the most important parts of an engine after the oil, if this fails it can kill an engine.

Prices vary from engine to engine and car to car, but on average it costs about eight times less to change the belt as it does to repair the engine after a belt failure, plus you don’t lose the car for upto a week.

Its false economy not to do the belt and associated pulleys and tensioners, so we always fit a full cambelt kit. We use GATES belts and SKF bearings/pulleys as these are used by the main manufacturers so are good for us too.
